You're a miracle sent from heaven
An Angel in disguise
A crutch for me to lean on
An answer to my Why's
An endless comfort to my soul
A teacher of life's lessons
A shoulder for me to cry on
Truly A God sent blessing
You're someone I can share with
Whether I laugh or cry
You are always there for me
Without ever asking why
You're an Angel sent from God
On you I can depend
And I thank the lord every day
For you, My special friend
Goals
Every one should have in life
A very special goal
Something that can only come
From deep within your soul
A dream that you can aim for
To help to give you hope
Something to look forward to
When you feel that you cant cope
A goal is something you decide
You want out of this life
That something gives you hope
And a purpose for which to strive
No matter what your goal is
Whether it is big or small
As long as it comes from within your heart
It shouldn't be hard at all
So as you go along your way
And make your dreams come true
Your very special goals in life
Help make a very special you
Road Of Life
As we walk along our road in life
We set our goals and dreams
We strive to make the future bright
No matter how hard it seems
People come and people go
That's the way it's meant to be
But the one's that are within my heart
Will walk along with me
And if the road gets weary
You must try to keep your smile
Just close your eyes and ask for help
Let your guide carry you awhile
Your guides are always there for you
Just listen for the signs
They will help you see through the grayest clouds
That the sun continues to shine
So walk along your road my friend
And know that choices you make
And all the love inside your heart
will decide the path you take
Healing hands
We take these hands of healing
a gift from up above
And we will share our powers
and heal the world with love
First we learn to love ourself
and to others show we care
To find that place inside ourself
and know that love lives there
We should never hide our feelings,
we should be open to everyone
And we can draw upon the energy,
from the earth, the moon and sun
So live your life and be yourself,
the special person that you are
And let positive energy flow from you,
to all people near and far
Every day is as precious, as beautiful and bright
Whether there's sunshine in the morning or thunder at night
God sends us his blessings as each new day dawns
Some blessings as small as the dew on the lawns
Sometimes When we're down and quite full of doubt
We seem to feel lost, and life's candle's gone out
But God's miracles may be small and sent in disguise
So we must look with our hearts and not with our eyes
To have faith in our God and also our self
Is worth more to our soul than any amount of wealth
So with in yourself find, faith, trust and love
And God will smile down on you from Heaven above
He will watch you and guide you, so you come to no harm
And when the timing is right, welcome you with open arms
I see you in my mind a thousand timesI hear your voice within the wind
I feel your love within my heart
How could loving you be a sin
I feel our souls so deep entwined
I feel your warmth embrace the miles
I feel the distance close between us
and my sadness turns to smiles
Love on a higher level
A whole new dimension of love
A place we can share together
Soaring high on a cloud above
A feeling of total enhancement
Of the mind, body, spirit and soul
A feeling of total completeness
When two halves become a whole
My life is filled with sunshine
Since you came into my world
You've enhanced my inner beauty
and gave hope to goals I've held
My love for you is immeasurable
You make my soul complete
Like my Knight in shining armor
You have swept me off my feet
Fate played a part the day we met
It was truly destiny
And my love for you will last forever
Throughout eternity
Love is
Love is an essence
A feeling unseen
Love is a river
A few rocks in between
Love is a mountain
Reaching up to the sky
Love is a bird
Flying free and so high
Love is the earth
With her beautiful lands
Love is the sharing
And joining of hands
Love is an emotion
Shared by two
What is love?
Love is you!
Our life is a lesson in which we are living
Our existence a gift of which we've been given
Our purpose in life, left for us to discover
while we cleanse and we heal and we love one another
We entered this world without fear or hate
An innocent soul, that God did create
So go back in your mind to that innocent feeling
and cleanse all your fears for your personal healing
But remember there's purpose for which we've been sent
So make your time here, rewarding time spent
As you open your heart to those in need
You will make your life very rewarding indeed.
While walking in the meadow
No one else I see
Alone but for my shadow
But there’s a presence here with me
This presence is always here with me
Especially when times are tough
I know that I can rely on her
To guide me through with Love
She helps me through the bad times
And she shares my happiness too
I know that she inspires me
In many things I do
We have been together all my life
That’s the way its meant to be
For we will walk together forever
My Spirit guide and me
Wings
Our Life is but a stepping stone
To a greater sense of being
We learn our lessons here on earth
And to life discover the meaning
We pass from this life to the next
With an inner sense of knowing
A staircase to our higher self
While our soul continues growing
When we find our peace on earth
The heavens open wide
God takes us in his capable hands
And teaches us to fly
This place has no limitations
No ties to hold us back
So we open up our new found wings
And begin our destiny track
Slave to my Heart
I am but a slave to my heart
For your love has captured me
Enhancing my body and mind
And allowing my soul to be free
You have unlocked those inner feelings
That have been dormant inside of me
Emotions that no-one could reach
But my love you hold the key
Some people may say I'm a dreamer
Living a life full of fantasy
That I maybe lost in your love forever
A slave for eternity
But what a wonderful fantasy I'm living
So captive and yet so free
Willingly staying a slave to my heart
Loving you for eternity
Wrapped up in Angel Wings
Concealed within the darkness
That engulfs your very soul
Sitting waiting patiently
Is the innocence that they stole
The heart that once beat peacefully
The soul that used to sing
Sits and waits with patience
Wrapped up in angel wings
She sits there in the darkness
Just wanting to shine through
Waiting for that moment
To re-unite with you
For she knows you're worth the waiting
And that you'll forgive life's many stings
That the two will become one again
Wrapped up in angel wings
So never give up hope my friend
Trust in what God brings
And you will spend your lifetime
Wrapped up in angel wings
Friendship
Our friendship is a treasured gift
It's very rich and rare
While other friendship's come and go
Ours will always be there
Our friendship's planted like a seed
And as through the years it grows
It strengthens and it branches out
And becomes the strongest bond I know
So thank you just for being there
My very special friend
I know that as the years go by
Our friendship will never end

Hi, welcome to my Blog !
Just wanted to create a place where I could share some of my poetry and thoughts with my friends.
Will start with some of my old poetry and maybe who knows with a little inspiration I may add some new.
I am Sitting here at home at the moment with nothing much else to do. I have to keep my leg up for awhile, so I though maybe I could use this time to create something special.
My friends and Family have been an awesome support. I am honestly touched beyond words with the special friends I have made and how they make my days so much better.
Love each and every one of you. words cant thank you enough.
